The last two weeks have flown by and we are just about getting used to our new system at Milsom Place. We have taken over the whole of the entrance of the centre! It has been a pleasure to fill it with plants, pots, fresh, dried and artificial flowers. We have had lots of lovely comments so that is really encouraging. With the extra space we are now able to offer a new selection of dried flowers.

A welcome surrounded by flowers!
Having the unit has really helped us to be able to serve customers safely. We are sorry you can't pick your own, but you can still see the flowers and you can tell us just which ones you want! We also have our ready made bouquets and jam jar posies to choose from. With British flower season in full swing we have lots of bunches of locally grown flowers available too.
Gardening, however grand or small, on balconies or creating an indoor oasis has definitely been an important way to find calm and peace. We have filled our original stand with a huge array of houseplants, annuals and perennials for the garden.
Dried flower bouquets
It is lovely to have the extra space to display our new collection of dried flowers and we are really enjoying creating dried flower bouquets for you. My current favourite is white Larkspur, little brown Timothy grass, hare tail grass with a pop of yellow from craspedia.
You can't bet craspedia to make someone smile! They add an instant splash of colour to dried flower bouquets or make a statement just on their own in a glass bottle.
As well as making dried flower bouquets we are of course still really enjoying the lovely fresh flowers! The summer flowers are just beautiful at the moment. Pale blue scabious with soft apricot stocks, avalanche roses and trails of clematis .
